Sports Played: Football and Basketball
Family Members Playing/Played Sports: Both his older brothers, Christian and Ryan, played football at Clearfield and earned college scholarships.
2018-19 Highlights: Was named an Eric Shick Agency D9Sports.com All-District 9 performer at wide receiver and a second-team Class 4A All-State wide receiver by PAFootballnews.com after catching 46 passes for 1,036 yards and nine touchdowns. He also ran for 106 yards and a touchdown. On defense, he made 23 tackles and tied for the team lead with four interceptions. He was also named the 2018 PA Preps Sophomore Wide Receiver of the Year and a first-team Mountain League player at wide receiver and returner.
Post-High School Plans: He plans to attend college and play football and has already received scholarship offers.

D9Sports: What is your favorite sport to participate in and why?
JL: Football, because I really enjoy the competition and comradery that comes with the sport.
D9Sports: What is your favorite memory, moment, game from playing high school sports?
JL: My first varsity touchdown freshman year against Tyrone
D9Sports: Why do you play high school sports?
JL: Beside from the competitiveness that comes with it, I feel that so many life lessons are taught to help me in whatever career path I choose to do in the future.
D9Sports: Who has had the most influence on your athletic career and why?
JL: Both of my older brothers, Christian and Ryan, have had the most influence on my athletic career. They have always been extremely supportive.
D9Sports: If you could change one thing about high school sports, what would it be and why?
JL: When it comes to competing for the state championship I feel that private schools and public schools should be classified differently.
D9Sports: If you could be president for a day, what would be the one major thing you would do?
JL: If I was president for a day I would make it a priority to take better care of our veterans.
D9Sports: What is your ideal place to live? County, City, Suburb? Why?
JL: Suburb because I like the city life but I don’t want to live directly in the city.
D9Sports: What would someone who doesn’t know you be surprised to find out about you?
JL: I’m really interested in history and I like reading about historical figures.
D9Sports: What is your strongest subject in school?
JL: English
D9Sports: If there was one period in history or one event in history you could go back to, what would it be?
JL: To be able to go back in time and watch the Declaration of Independence be signed.
D9Sports: What question do you wish I would have asked you? And what is the answer to it?
JL: Who has impacted my life the most? My parents for always being with me and supporting me in everything I do.
