Police Respond to Truck Crash in Summerville

SUMMERVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — Police say a truck had to be towed from the scene of a crash after striking a guide rail in Summerville Borough on Thursday morning.

According to police, around 7:15 a.m. on Thursday, August 8, Joshua D. Borsuk, 28, of Tarentum, was operating a 2012 Freightliner, traveling north on Harrison Street near its intersection with Carrier Street.

Police say Borsuk’s truck went off the roadway and into a guide rail.

Borsuk was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.

The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Leadbetter Towing.

Borsuk was cited for a lane violation.
