PSP: Car, Pickup Collide on Route 66

PAINT TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police responded to a two-vehicle accident that occurred on State Route 66 in Paint Township on Tuesday afternoon.

According to police, around 1:10 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 72-year-old William R. Miller, of Smethport, was operating a 2013 Chrysler 200, traveling north on State Route 66 near the intersection with Zacherl Lane in Paint Township.

Police say Miller made a left turn without clearance and struck a 2010 Ford Ranger operated by 71-year-old Thomas P. Harvey, of Tylersburg.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and no injuries were reported.

Miller was cited for a turning violation.
