TOBY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police have released the details of a crash in Toby Township that left one woman seriously injured.

According to police, around 11:33 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 18-year-old Carla J. Billotte, of Rimersburg, was operating a 2006 Toyota Sienna, traveling west on Cherry Run Road, just west of Koch Lane in Toby Township, Clarion County.

Police say Billotte was attempting to negotiate a right turn in the roadway when her vehicle struck a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier, operated by 50-year-old Melissa D. Goodman, of Rimersburg, that was traveling eastbound.

Billotte’s vehicle struck the left front of Goodman’s vehicle, which caused both vehicles to spin counterclockwise.

Billotte’s vehicle came to a final rest facing east in the middle of the roadway while Goodman’s vehicle exited the roadway and came to a final rest to the south of the roadway, facing north.

Billotte, Goodman, and Goodman’s passengers, two 15-year-old Rimersburg girls, were all wearing seatbelts.

Billotte and the two teens were not injured.

Goodman suffered suspected serious injuries and was transported to Clarion Hospital by Clarion Hospital Ambulance.
