Butler County Burglary Connected to Clarion

BUTLER CO., Pa. (EYT) — An individual who was facing charges for a burglary in Northern Butler County has been arrested on new charges.

Justin Ealy, of Butler, was arrested on Wednesday, August 7, for new burglary charges and drug charges relating to methamphetamine possession, according to the Butler Eagle.

In a published article in the Butler Eagle, state police officers executed a search warrant on Wednesday for an Allegheny Township, Butler County residence that was leased to Ealy.

Butler Eagle reported that Ealy initially stood for a preliminary hearing on burglary charges for stolen items from a business garage located on Station Road, in Mercer Township, Butler County. A Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a Yamaha ATV were two of the items that were listed as stolen.

In a controlled buy, police allegedly found the ATV and other stolen items — including five firearms, a .22-caliber semi-automatic tactical rifle, a .357 Magnum handgun, and other long-barrel rifles. — at Ealy’s Summit Township home.

According to state police, the weapons are connected to a burglary in Clarion County.

Police found additional items — including the Harley-Davidson at Ealy’s Allegheny Township leased residence.

Police say they also found “a poorly hidden meth lab and two long rifles.”

New charges have not yet been filed against 29-year-old Matthew J. Bowser, of Parker, or 51-year-old Leroy D. Bowser, of Emlenton, who were charged along with Ealy in relation to the Mercer Township burglary.

A preliminary hearing for Matthew Bowser on Wednesday was rescheduled for September 25. He remains lodged in the Butler County Jail.

Leroy Bowser has not been apprehended.
