Clarion County Recipe of the Day: Frozen Tropical Pie
Make this simple no-bake pie for the upcoming Labor Day get-togethers!
Frozen Tropical Pie
1 – 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1 – 12 oz. carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 – 20 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 – 9-inch graham cracker crusts
Additional walnuts and maraschino cherries
~In a large bowl, combine milk and whipped topping. Fold in the pineapple, nuts, cherries, and lemon juice. Pour half into each crust. Freeze until firm, about four hours.
~Remove from the freezer 20 minutes before serving. Garnish with additional nuts and cherries.
