Edward C. Tibor, Jr.

tiborEdward C. Tibor, Jr, 73 of Stoneboro, passed away on September 1, 2019 at his home.

Ed was born in Grove City on June 18, 1946 to the late Edward C. Tibor, Sr. and Gladys I. Petty Tibor. He was a graduate of Lakeview High School and went on to serve his Country in the United States Air Force during Vietnam.

Ed married his beloved wife, Pamela Oddi Tibor on December 20, 1969, she preceded him in death on August 7, 2017.

Ed was best known for his time as a Taekwondo instructor. He was an instructor for many years and once owned a school with his wife Pam in Charleston, SC. He was also a talented woodworker and enjoyed cooking and entertaining, especially with his family. He was an active member of Sandy Lake Sportsman’s Club for over 40 years and enjoyed hunting deer.

Ed is survived by his brothers, James Tibor of Cortland, OH and companion Karen Counselman of Franklin, John Tibor of Phoenix, AZ, brother-in-law Kim Oddi and wife Connie of Sandy Lake, nephews James Tibor, Jr. and great-nephew Jacob Tibor of Silver Plume, CO, niece Tressa (David) Snyder of Hadley, nephew Ben (Shannon) Oddi of Mars, and niece Gina (Keith) Tagliaferri of Mercer.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Home of STONEBORO, 99 Franklin Street, where family and friends are welcome from 5-7 PM on Thursday, September 12, 2019. A memorial service will follow visitation at 7 pm at the funeral home. Full Military Honors will be rendered by the VE.T.S. Honor Guard.
