Saturday’s Clarion/Lock Haven Game at Memorial Stadium is Inaugural “PSAC Day”

PSACDayCover_PhotoLOCK HAVEN, Pa. — The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) will host its inaugural “PSAC Day” Saturday, September 14 in Clarion, Pennsylvania when the Clarion Golden Eagles host the Lock Haven Bald Eagles in a PSAC Football game, the league announced Wednesday morning.

Both teams enter the contest with an 1-0 record after convincing wins in Week 1. Clarion will boast PSAC West Offensive Co-Athlete of the Week in Mylique McGriff while Lock Haven’s Charles Hayes was named PSAC East Special Teams Athlete of the Week.

PSAC Day will celebrate all things PSAC and allow fans to learn more about our 18-institution league.

Fans attending the game will be encouraged to stop by the promotional table at Memorial Stadium near the main entrance to enter to win prizes, take photos with PSAC props, and get a chance to chat with PSAC personnel. The football game that afternoon will feature PSAC themed promotions and announcements.

Various giveaways at the PSAC table will include a variety of items. All fans will be encouraged to join the PSAC’s social media efforts by using #PSACDay.

The PSAC is an 18-member, 23-sport, NCAA Division II conference with teams located in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The mission of the PSAC is to provide an organizational structure that enhances intercollegiate athletics competition among member institutions in an environment that recognizes the student-athletes’ academic experience as a vital part of the educational process.
