Hollenbaugh’s Hometown Meat Market to Open Soon

STRATTANVILLE, Pa. — A new meat market will soon open on the site of the former Ragley’s Bowling Alley.

Chad and Darlene Hollenbaugh, of Strattanville, will open Hollenbaugh Hometown Meat Market at 15702 Route 322 in Clarion Township after a few final details are completed.

“We have been processing wild game and custom animals for local farmers for the last 18 years,” said the Hollenbaughs during an earlier interview. “We will have retail and fresh cut meats and will be USDA inspected.”

An official open date has not been set.

The Clarion County Planning Commission gave preliminary approval to the project on September 19, 2018, with plans for a 6000 square feet building to include 18 parking spaces. Quintet Development LP, of Clarion, requested the approval.

Clarion Bowl Arena, formerly known as Ragley’s Bowling Alley, was built in 1957 and closed its doors for the final time in August 2011.
