Man Accused of Burglary in Ashland Township

ASHLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police arrested a man who allegedly burglarized an Ashland Township residence in July.

According to court documents, criminal charges were filed against 28-year-old Dusty James Howe, of Parker, on September 19.

According to Trooper Allison, of Clarion-based State Police, the incident occurred at 4:24 p.m. on July 23 at a residence on Grace Church Road, in Ashland Township, Clarion County.

Police say Howe entered the victim’s residence and stole coins and medication from the victim.

Howe was taken into custody and arraigned at 1:30 p.m. on September 19 on the following charges:

– Burglary — Overnight Accommodation, No Person Present, Felony 1
– Int Poss Contr Subst By Per Not Registered, Misdemeanor
– Theft By Unlaw Taking-Movable Prop Misdemeanor 1
– Public Drunkenness And Similar Misconduct Summary

He was lodged in the Clarion County Jail on $10,000.00 monetary bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. on October 15 with Magisterial District Judge Amy Long Turk presiding.
