Clarion Man Accused of Yelling Racial Slur, Profanity, Death Threat Through Couple’s Window

CLARION TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A Clarion man is facing charges after he allegedly stood outside a couple’s home and yelled profanity, a racial slur, and a death threat through their window.

Court documents indicate the Clarion-based State Police filed criminal charges against 33-year-old Kristopher Cody Patrick, of Clarion, on September 18.

According to a criminal complaint, around 1:43 a.m. on Friday, September 13, Trooper Knight, of the Clarion-based State Police, was dispatched to a location on Fraternity Drive in Clarion Township for a report of a known male causing a disturbance outside of a known victim’s residence.

Trooper Knight arrived at the location and spoke with the victim.

According to the complaint, the victim reported that Kristopher Cody Patrick was outside of her residence while she was laying in bed, attempting to sleep. She stated Patrick was yelling profanity and threats into her window, including calling her a racial slur and threatening her by saying he was going to “beat her a** and punch her in the face.”

The victim also reported that Patrick had yelled that when her husband woke up to go to work, he was going to kill him.

The complaint notes that Trooper Knight was also aware that Clarion-based State Police had responded to the same location four times prior to this incident for similar conduct from Patrick and knew that Patrick was informed multiple times by the victims and responding troopers that his conduct needed to stop.

The following charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge Duane L. Quinn’s office on September 18:

– Terroristic Threats With Intent To Terrorize Another, Misdemeanor 1
– Harassment — Communicate Lewd, Threatening, Etc. Language, Misdemeanor 3
– Disorder Conduct Hazardous/Physi Offense, Misdemeanor 3

A preliminary arraignment is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2, with Judge Quinn presiding.
