YMCA to Host Punt, Pass & Kick Competition on Saturday

CLARION, Pa. – The Clarion County YMCA will be hosting a Punt, Pass & Kick Competition on Saturday, September 28, at the Clarion University Football Stadium.

The Punt, Pass & Kick competition is for youth in grades kindergarten through eighth grade. All youth will compete in distance and accuracy while punting, passing and kicking a football within their age group.  The cost is just $5.00 per child.

The competition begins at 3:30 p.m.

“This is a fun day for kids,” said Jesse Kelley, Clarion County YMCA Branch Director and Flag Football Program Director.  “This program has grown over the last three years and kids are now looking forward to the next competition and setting new goals.”

The YMCA is running this program for the third consecutive year.  Children do not need to be enrolled in the Flag Football program to participate.  The winners of the competition will receive trophies.  Each age group will have three trophy winners.

Registration is required prior to the event.  Online registration is available in addition to registration at the YMCA.
