SUGARCREEK BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — A hearing against a Shippenville man accused of continuing to contact a woman despite a Protection From Abuse order has been scheduled for Wednesday.
According to court documents, a hearing against 30-year-old Stephanie Marie Lizza is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2, in Venango County Central Court with Magisterial District Judge Patrick E. Lowrey presiding.
Lizza faces one first-degree misdemeanor count of stalking — repeatedly communicate to cause fear.
Details of the case:
According to a criminal complaint, around 7:56 p.m. on September 10, a known victim arrived at Sugarcreek Borough Police Department to report that while she was at work, she noticed she had new junk mail in her work email and didn’t recognize the email address; however, after reading the emails, it was apparent they were from Stephanie Lizza, against whom she had an active Protection From Abuse (PFA) order.
According to the complaint, the victim received emails on September 6, 8, and 9, and one of the emails referred the victim to check her cell phone for links Lizza sent to her email. The video links are of Lizza trying to explain to the victim how he was wrong and that he was still in love with her.
The complaint notes the temporary PFA was filed on August 19 and has been extended until modified.
Lizza was arraigned in front of Judge Lowrey at 3:15 p.m. on September 17.
He remains free on $2,500.00 unsecured bail.
