“We’re all set to go,” Ron Brewer, manager of Bobcat of Kane and Bobcat of Olean, N.Y. told exploreClarion.com on Monday morning.

“We anticipate a late February or early March opening. Right now, we’re anticipating six full-time employees.”

The new dealership will consist of compact construction equipment from the Bobcat line, excavators, skid steers, track loaders line, and tractor line, along with any attachment that goes with any of that equipment.

The location will be a Bobcat-only store and will not include any additional OEM’s.

Brewer said Bobcat of Clarion would sell and service all equipment from the store.

Clarion was picked for the location for a third store in addition to Kane and Olean, NY.

“We did look at DuBois in that corridor along I-80,” said Brewer. “Clarion has a nice small hometown feel to it that really fits with who we are. Our other dealer locations are similar to that. Clarion fits in our market, and that’s what we looked for in our search.”

Another advantage is that not too much has to be done to the existing building.

“We don’t have to do many changes with the site because it was a vehicle dealership that was set up pretty well,” continued Brewer. “We will do some cosmetic adjustments, and we’ll do some interior painting, but as far as the layout the structure will stay intact.

“We will just give it a different look. We will give it the Bobcat Dealership look.”
