CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — State police are investigating the death of an individual whose body was discovered in northern Clarion County.

According to a representative of the Marienville-based State Police, troopers are currently on the scene where the body of a deceased individual was found near State Route 36 in the area of Long Acres Potato Farms just north of Frills Corners on Tuesday.

Clarion County Coroner Randall Stom told exploreClarion.com that an active investigation into the death is underway.

Further details on the identity of the individual have not yet been released.

It’s unclear if foul play is suspected.

The case remains under investigation.
