Man Robbed at Gunpoint in Barkeyville

BARKEYVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — Police say a man was robbed at gunpoint and locked in his own trailer in Barkeyville Borough early this morning.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 12:30 a.m. on Monday, October 7, a male was held at gunpoint and robbed in the back parking lot at the Travel Centers of America (TA) in Barkeyville Borough, Venango County.

Police say the victim was only able to identify the perpetrators as a white male and two black males who claimed to be security before they locked him in his trailer.

The perpetrators are believed to have fled the scene in a black truck of an unknown make and model.
