Vehicle Slams into Cow in Madison Township

MADISON TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police say a crash occurred late Thursday night when a vehicle struck a cow that was crossing a roadway in Madison Township.

According to Clarion-based State Police, around 11:53 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 31-year-old Justin M. Finland, of Sligo, was driving a 2005 Ford F150 XLT pickup, traveling west on State Route 861 just east of Kermits Lane in Madison Township, Clarion County.

Police say Finland struck a cow that was crossing the roadway. He brought his vehicle to a controlled rest facing west in the eastbound lane of Route 861.

Finland was using a seat belt and was not injured.
