Crime Stoppers Seeking Information on Theft of 30 Guns in Washington Township

investigationWASHINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Marienville-based State Police are continuing their investigation into a burglary that occurred in Washington Township in early May.

According to police, on Thursday, May 2, sometime between 5:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., unknown individual(s) entered the residence of a 65-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman on Bell Road, Washington Township, Clarion County, and stole a television, guitars, and guns.

Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers noted that the victim was away on vacation when the burglary occurred, and it was common knowledge to people in the area that the victim went on vacation for approximately one month around the same time each year.

The items taken include approximately 30 guns and a large flat screen TV.

All callers remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.

The investigation is ongoing.
