William Leroy Huff, 70, of Decatur, died Sunday, October 6, 2019, at Decatur Morgan Hospital.

His family will host a memorial service in Pennsylvania at a later date. Shelton Funeral Home assisted the family with local arrangements.

Mr. Huff was born November 24, 1948, in Oil City, PA to Carl Jackson Huff and Alice Jeanette Carter Huff.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Sandy Huff and Carol Vath.

He was a Vietnam era veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving from November 28, 1967, until August 30, 1971.

He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Stover Huff of Decatur; two sons, Timothy Wayne Huff (Kirsten) of Elbert, CO, and Karl Nelson Huff (Amanda) of Jackson, OH; three daughters, Heather Lynn Einreinhof (Mark) of Germany, and Jessica Marie Huff and Aimee Jean Huff, both of Decatur; one daughter in love, Susan Shafer of Toney; one brother, Robert Allen Huff (Mary Lou) of Oil City, PA; two sisters, Sue Reed (Daniel) of Dempseytown, PA, and Kathy Larson (Larry) of Franklin, PA; and 10 grandchildren, Michael Einreinhof, Max Einreinhof, Eli Huff, Brittani Renee Searcy, Bridget Katerina Searcy, Samantha Joyce Huff, Kaitlyn Einreinhof, Elise Huff, Euriah Huff, and Helene Huff.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
