This informative debate starts at 7:00 p.m. and is open to the public.

The four candidates participating in the debate are Wayne Brosius (R), Ed Heasley (D), Ted Tharan (R), and Braxton White (D).

Attending the debate gives the community the opportunity to submit written questions to the candidates about issues that they are particularly interested in. After an opening statement and answering a pre debate League question, the candidates will answer submitted audience questions.

“County commissioners make decisions that have a direct effect on our community,” said Donna Poljanec, Vice President of Clarion County League of Women Voters. “Come and find out the candidates goals for the County and what they are planning.”

In addition to the debate, all candidates for other Clarion County offices in the primary who attend will be introduced.

If you are unable to attend the event, exploreClarion.com will be broadcasting the debate live. You can access the broadcast at 7:00 p.m. on October 16 at www.exploreClarion.com or Facebook.com/exploreClarion. For updated information about the debate please visit Facebook.com/LWVClarionCounty.
