Lt. Governor Fetterman spent 12 years as the mayor of Braddock, Pa., and became nationally renowned for his successful efforts to revitalize his struggling community before his election as Lt. Governor in 2018.

Fetterman lauded White’s commitment to the country through his military experience, his service to the community through local government, and his platform of reducing blighted properties, expanding public transportation, supporting union membership, investing in skilled trades and protecting vulnerable children.

White said his platform, inspired by Fetterman’s example in Braddock, will grow Clarion County economically while also building up the area’s most vulnerable citizens.

“With Clarion County dealing with many of the same issues Braddock struggled with before he became mayor, it is an honor to be endorsed by John Fetterman. This endorsement affirms that our platform of investing in people will bring the change Clarion County needs,” he said.

White, 33, is a Clarion Area School Board member, Clarion County Career Center board member, and Army veteran.  He and his high school sweetheart Stephanie have been married since 2010 and live in Marianne with their five-year-old son, Will.  Braxton spent four years as a drafting instructor at Triangle Tech in DuBois before his recent employment as a CAD operator with a Clarion engineering firm.

“I hope the citizens of Clarion County will join me in turning our community around, developing the potential of our hardworking people and protecting our families,” White said.
