Clarion County Teen, Two Others Facing Attempted Homicide Charges Following Shooting Incident

BUTLER CO., Pa. (EYT) — A Clarion County teen and two Butler County teens are behind bars this morning after a shooting in Cherry Township, Butler County.

According to the Butler Eagle, 19-year-old Henry Leroy, of East Brady, 19-year-old Adam Rodgers, of Chicora, and 17-year-old Tyler Martin, of Slippery Rock, are being charged with attempted homicide in connection this a shooting that occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 17.

According to police, the victim, a 19-year-old Boyers man, was not injured.

Police were called to the scene near the victim’s home, located in the 300 block of New Hope Road in Cherry Township, for a report of a shooting. It was reported that multiple shots were fired at the victim.

Adam Rodgers was identified as the shooter, according to police. The three teens then fled in a Dodge Caravan, with Tyler Martin driving.

No other details of the incident have been released at this time.

According to police, the three individuals involved were arrested and charges of attempted homicide and aggravated assault are pending. They were booked into the Butler County prison around midnight.
