Tori Obenrader Scores Career-High 27 Points to Lead Gannon Women’s Hoops to Victory
ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. – Tori Obenrader poured in a career-high 27 points, including 14 points in the fourth quarter, as Gannon overcame a 14-point deficit to win its season opener, 66-64, at Elizabeth City State Friday.

Obenrader, who also had seven rebounds, tied the game 57-57 with a free throw. At the 1:02 mark, she then hit a layup to give the Knights their first lead since the first quarter. Haley Tewes and Sydney Mitchell would score crucial points in the final minute leading Gannon to a 66-64 win.
Three other players finished in double-figures leading Gannon’s third straight season-opening win over the Vikings.
Chelsea Rourke had 12 points, Mitchell added 11 and Boston McKinney chipped in 10.
