State Police Seeking Information on Horse Shot Near Summerville

CLOVER TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Punxsutawney-based State Police are investigating an incident where a horse was shot in Clover Township near Summerville.

According to police, around 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, an unknown individual discharged three rounds from a shotgun at a horse on Mohney Road in Clover Township, Jefferson County.

Police say the animal was struck by at least two of the rounds.
