State Police Calls: Retail Theft, Terroristic Threats

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Retail Theft in Monroe Township

Around 6:15 p.m. on November 2, Clarion-based State Police were notified of a retail theft in progress at the Walmart store in Monroe Township.

Troopers were then able to stop the suspect vehicle, a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado, on Interstate 80 at the Exit 62 on-ramp. The stolen property, which included a camouflage JBL bluetooth speaker valued at $84.00 and a black stealth cam monocular valued at $118.00, were recovered and a 15-year-old male from Erie was taken into custody.

Terroristic Threats in Limestone Township

According to police, around 10:01 p.m. on October 21, a known suspect in Limestone Township made threats against all police, as well as one officer that was specifically named, on the suspect’s Facebook account.
