Mary Kay Case

Mary Kay Case, 76, of Franklin passed away peacefully at her home in South Carolina on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, following an illness.

Born August 26, 1943, in Franklin, Kay was the daughter of the late Ralph D. and Mary Margaret Short Foster.

Kay enjoyed first and foremost spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her greatest gift to everyone was her passion – her passion for cooking, sewing, teaching, and most of all, Loving. She gave her all in everything she did, and always turned moments into ‘teaching’ moments.

She is survived by her husband, James R. Case; her 2 sons, James Case, Jr. and his wife, Angela, of Brackney, PA and Joseph Case and his wife, Kim, of W. Columbia, SC; her 8 grandchildren, Joe Case, Lisa Case Martin, Haley Case, Austin Case, Marshal Case, Makayla Case Brown, Makenzie Case and Mary Case; and her 4 great-grandchildren, Aisley, Easton, and Elloree Martin, and Avery Case.

Kay is also survived by her 2 sisters, Marolyn Canter and her husband, Larry, and Carolyn VanKlau; her 2 brothers-in-law, Bill Wood and Tom Parker; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her 2 sisters, JoAnne Wood and Connie Parker; and her brother, George Foster.

A Memorial Service for Kay will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19th at the Nicklin United Methodist Church.

Her family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Nicklin United Methodist Church – 2602 Water Works Road, Franklin PA 16323.
