Police: Knox Man Arrested for Discharging Rifle Inside Home

BEAVER TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police say a Knox man is behind bars after discharging a rifle inside a Beaver Township residence on Sunday.

Around 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 17, Clarion-based State Police investigated an incident of domestic violence that allegedly occurred at a residence on Knox Road in Beaver Township.

Police say during the investigation, it was determined that a rifle was discharged inside the home during an altercation.

Henry Burkhart, 55, of Knox, was subsequently taken into custody and charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, and reckless endangerment.

Burkhart was arraigned in District Court 18-3-03 and lodged in the Clarion County Jail in lieu of $25,000.00 monetary bail.
