Charges Filed in A-C Valley School Threat

RICHLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police say a 15-year-old male has been identified as the individual behind the threat that disrupted classes at Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District earlier this week.

Around 3:47 p.m. on Friday, November 15, a known 15-year-old Emlenton male sent a message via SnapChat to his friends.

According to police, the image was discovered on Monday, November 18, and was forwarded to the Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District, and the individual was identified by an A-C Valley School District Administrator.

Police say an investigation was conducted, identifying the individual who sent the message, and a juvenile allegation was filed against the 15-year-old male suspect.

The suspect’s name will not being released due to his age.

No further information was released.
