State Police Calls: Local Man Falls Victim to Identity Theft Scam

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Identity Theft in Perry Township

An incident of identity theft occurred around 6:07 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, on Terwilliger Road, in Perry Township.

State police say the incident involves an unknown individual using a 53-year-old Parker man’s social security number to acquire new phones through an online website.

The incident is under investigation.

Teen Arrested for DUI in Clarion Township

Clarion-based State Police say a DUI arrest was made around 12:28 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, on Greenville Pike, in Clarion Township.

A known, 19-year-old Brookville man was arrested for DUI.

The traffic stop involved a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado.
