The charges stem from an incident that occurred in South Fayette Township, Allegheny County, in late November.

Details of the case:

According to a criminal complaint, on November 24, a known victim reported to Sergeant Leininger, of the South Fayette Police, that she was raped by Tony Neal Young.

The victim reported that she had met Young at a party at a nearby bar and had gone with him to the Holiday Inn. She stated she went with him with the thought of “just kissing and making out,” but reported that when they arrived at his room, he started to undress and placed a hand gun on a table near the bed, the complaint states.

The victim said Young told her to get undressed. She stated that she was frightened because “she didn’t know what was going to happen.” She went on to report that Young grabbed her by her hair and forced her down in front of him, according to the complaint.

The victim reported being forced into various sex acts. She stated that she kept saying: “I don’t want to do this. This isn’t right. You need to stop,” the complaint states.

She also reported that Young grabbed her by the neck multiple times and squeezed, causing her to have difficulty breathing, the complaint indicates.

Young was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Ronald A. Arnoni at 8:40 p.m. on November 24.

Unable to post $500,000.00 monetary bail, he was lodged in the Allegheny County Jail on November 24.

He was released on Monday, December 2, after his bail was changed to $50,000.00 unsecured per Judge McGraw-Desmet’s order.
