Meth Bust Nets Two Strattanville Residents

STRATTANVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — Two people are facing drug charges following a CNET investigation that led to a search warrant being served at a Strattanville Borough residence this week.

Court documents indicate CNET filed criminal charges against 21-year-old Cody Alan Doshak and 25-year-old Natasha Dawn Anthony, both of Strattanville.

According to a criminal complaint, around 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, the Pennsylvania State Police Troop C Vice Unit, Clarion-based State Police, and Clarion Borough Police served a search warrant on a residence on Main Street in Strattanville based on the probable cause of trafficking methamphetamine.

The complaint notes that when law enforcement attempted entry into the residence, it was barricaded. After knocking an announcing themselves, they did not receive any response, so they made a forced entry to the residence.

Upon entering the residence, the officers found four people in the residence, including Cody Doshak and Natasha Anthony. All four individuals were detained.

According to the complaint, a search of the residence was conducted, and the following items were seized:

  • Papers indicating that all four detained individuals reside at the residence
  • Baggie of unknown substance
  • Cell phone
  • Security Camera
  • $161.00 in U.S. currency
  • Clear baggie of suspected methamphetamine
  • Samsung cell phone
  • Cameo lock box with drug paraphernalia (scale and packing material)
  • Vaultz lock box with clear baggie, needle, and straw
  • Clear box baggie, q-tips, and foil
  • Natasha Anthony letter
  • Pill bottle of Clonazepam
  • Needle (loaded, containing blood fluid)
  • Brown box with razor blade
  • Several clear small zip lock baggies (packing material)
  • Blue bandana
  • Needles
  • Large glass bong with residue
  • Black cell phone
  • Needles in attic
  • Glass smoking pipe and AWS scale
  • Clear bag with residue
  • Bandanas
  • Purple bag, glass smoking pipe, and needle
  • Drug paraphernalia pipe
  • iPhone of Natasha Anthony

The complaint notes that Doshak and Anthony were located in an upstairs bedroom upon police entry where approximately four grams of crystal methamphetamine were located, packaged in several small baggies — packaged for sale. Also in the bedroom was packaging materials and scales.

According to the complaint, other items of drug activity were throughout the house, mostly in plain view. The known owner of the house was also at the residence upon the officer’s arrival.

The ongoing criminal drug investigation revealed drug transactions taking place inside the rear of the residence. One door was secured with a padlock, and the other door had security cameras with a live feed to a monitor in the living room. according to the complaint.

Based on the investigation, Anthony and Doshak were arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Duane L. Quinn on Wednesday, April 24, on the following charges:

  • Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
  • Conspiracy — Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
  • Possession of Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor (two counts)
  • Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor
  • Possession of Instrument Of Crime With Intent, Misdemeanor 1

Unable to post $50,000.00 monetary bail each, they were lodged in the Clarion County Jail.

Preliminary hearings are scheduled for 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, with Judge Quinn presiding.

No charges have been filed against the other two individuals at the residence at this time.
