The super load left the Port of Erie on Thursday, December 5 and is traveling through the region on its way to Lock Haven in Clinton County. During the journey, the load will move through nine counties, including portions of Erie, Crawford, Venango and Forest counties. It is excepted to arrive in Lock Haven early next week.

Plans call for the load to start along Route 208 near Fryburg, Clarion County. Tuesday’s route included portions of Forest and Venango Counties and travel concluded in Fryburg when the load parked for the evening at the Washington Twp. Volunteer Fire Department.

Wednesday’s travel route includes Route 36 in Clarion County, as well as Route 66 in Clarion and Forest counties. A complete list of the planned route from Erie to Lock Haven can be found online at www.penndot.gov/district1.

Flaggers will be positioned at specific locations and intersections along the super load route to assist control traffic during counterflow movements.

Drivers will need to remain alert for the slow-moving operation, which will travel at speeds lower than 15 miles-per-hour.
