Demolition Derby Tonight at the Clarion County Fair Expected to be a Smash Hit

HAWTHORN, Pa. (EYT) – The Clarion County Fair revs up tonight with the always popular Demolition Derby.

The action kicks off with a pre-derby concert by local musician Coston Cross at 6:00 p.m., followed by the main event — the annual Demolition Derby at 7:00 p.m.

Fans are invited to come out and cheer on their favorite drivers as they compete for the trophy. The last car “standing” wins.

This year’s demolition derby is presented by Derby Dogs, a demolition derby promotor covering Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Daily admission for the fair is $8.00 per person. Children under two are admitted free unless riding. The price includes parking, admission, rides, and grandstand seating. The Midway opens at 4:00 p.m.

Daily shows include Brian Franzen’s Elephants, Hypnotist Richard Barker, The Butterfly Experience, Awesome AG Magic Show, Wild About Robots “Iron Man,” and Knocker Ball.

The week-long extravaganza continues through Saturday, July 28.

The Clarion County Fair is located at the Redbank Valley Municipal Park, 1 1/2 miles north of New Bethlehem, just off Route 28.
