BENEZETTE, ELK CO., Pa. – The 2016 Pennsylvania Great Outdoors Elk Expo will be held August 20-21 on the beautiful grounds surrounding the Elk Country Visitor Center on Winslow Hill in Benezette.

This event is EVERYTHING ELK. The PA Great Outdoors Visitors Bureau proudly partners with the Keystone Elk Country Alliance to host this annual celebration of the mighty wapiti.

The calling contests are always a crowd favorite, where young and old can show off their talent for imitating elk and turkey calls.

Many local outdoors experts, including Pennsylvania Game Commission, sportsman’s clubs, and Pheasants Forever, will also be on hand providing updates and information about the region.

Stroll through vendors offering handmade products, everything from outdoor gear to wildlife photography and other artisan goods. There will also be plenty of live music and festival food too with Six Pak, Company Townes, and Nick Forsyth.
