Police Identify Body as Missing Brookville Teen
MILLCREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Officials say a 19-year-old Brookville woman who went missing on Friday, January 11, has been found deceased.
State police in Punxsutawney say 19-year-old Devan C. Knapp, of Brookville, was found in her vehicle along Summerville Drive in Millcreek Township, Clarion County around 7:00 a.m. Tuesday.
Authorities say Ms. Knapp was found by a passerby.
PSP Clarion, PSP Punxsutawney, and Clarion Hospital EMS arrived on the scene a short time later.
Clarion County Coroner Terry Shaffer, Clarion County District Attorney Mark Aaron, and Jefferson County District Attorney Jeff Burkett were also on the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
