JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – Police say an employee of a Punxsutawney machine company has been stealing products from the workplace and selling them for scrap.

On April 10, Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to an incident of theft at FEMCO Machine Co. on South Main Street Ext., in Punxsutawney, Young Township.

It was reported that an employee of FEMCO – a 32-year-old Punxsutawney man – was stealing products from the workplace and selling them for scrap.

The suspect has reportedly deprived FEMCO of an estimated $60,000.00 in materials since November of 2013.

The investigation continues.
