police-line-300x199PERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) –Two men were seriously injured Sunday in a UTV rollover accident in Perry Township, Clarion County.

Clarion-based State Police say around 2:42 a.m., Kyle Bailey, 22, of Parker, was traveling north on Keefer Road when he failed to negotiate a right-hand turn and drove off the left side of the roadway.

Bailey’s Polaris RZR Side-by-Side impacted a tree stump, causing the vehicle to roll over an unknown number of times before coming to a rest.

A passenger in Bailey’s vehicle, Jeremy Slaugenhoup, 28, of St. Petersburg, was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle.

Both Bailey and Slaugenhoup suffered severe injuries, according to police.

Bailey was wearing a seatbelt, according to police.

Police believe the accident was alcohol-related. DUI charges are pending BAC results.
