Kalinowski Added to exploreClarion.com Broadcast Team for Upcoming Football, Basketball Seasons
CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – EYT Media Group, the parent company of exploreClarion.com, has announced the addition of an award-winning sportscaster to its team for the upcoming high school football and basketball seasons.
The company announced today that it has reached an agreement with award-winning play-by-play commentator Mike Kalinowski to audio broadcast 2015-2016 District 9 KSAC high school football and basketball games.
In a May 7 news release, EYT announced the signing of veteran sportscasters Dustin Kifer and Bob “The Governor” Dunkle.
“Adding Mike to our broadcast team is the final piece to the puzzle,” said Jake Bauer, President of EYT Media Group. “Mike’s credentials speak for themselves. His addition, combined with Bob Dunkle and Dustin Kifer, gives us one of the best high school sports broadcast teams in the state.”
Kalinowski stated in the release that he is excited to get the ball rolling on what he believes will be a successful venture.
“With 28 years in the radio business, I am excited to be a part of the emerging medium of online sports coverage. While I still believe in the value of terrestrial radio, the potential audience for our high school coverage online is limitless,” said Kalinowski.
“This is an exciting time and one that I hope will give our local student-athletes a lot more exposure and provide additional opportunities for them during and after high school.”
EYT plans to bring fans a full slate of high school football and basketball broadcasts for the upcoming seasons.
The games will be streamed on the EYT Radio Network via exploreClarion.com and an easy-to-use smartphone app.
Additional details will be released at a later date.
