Fox’s Pizza Den in Clarion Closing its Doors for Good July 30

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — Fox’s Pizza Den in Clarion is closing its doors for good July 30.

According to local owner Paula Stettler, there are some franchise issues that are forcing her to close her shop.

“Fox’s is a franchise, and there are some very serious franchise issues that I am not ready to move forward with,” Stettler said. “They are making it impossible for us local owners.”

Stettler didn’t elaborate on the issues Wednesday, although early in the year in a discussion with ExploreClarion.com the following points were brought up by Stettler:

  • Fox’s Pizza was entertaining the possibility of moving the store to a different building in the Clarion area.
  • The franchise was possibly going to be requiring equipment upgrades.
  • Stettler is in the process of selling the store’s equipment. The sale of the equipment will start Aug. 1 according to a Facebook post by Stettler.

Fox’s Pizza Den is located at 661 Greenville Pike in Clarion.

Attempts to contact Fox’s Pizza’s Corporate Headquarters in Murrysville, Pa., have not yet been successful.
