Letter to the Editor: Sara Seidle-Patton Has the Qualities to Be an Excellent Judge

One must have a strong reason to write to the Editor for the first time. In this case, it is a passionate cause that affects all of Clarion County.

I support Sara Seidle-Patton for judge.

My late husband, David M. Speer, retired in 2011 from 12 years as the Assistant District Attorney in Clarion. He was a dedicated and well-respected litigator, and during part of that time, Dave and Sara worked together as First and Second ADAs. Because of their mutual respect, he openly expressed to Sara and others that she should pursue the judgeship of Clarion County when the situation arose, and he offered his full support.

I am respecting and echoing this conviction. In my opinion, Sara Seidle-Patton has the scope and level of experience necessary to be an excellent judge. Her integrity, ability, and temperament are unequaled.

Everyone needs to do their own research and exercise their responsibility to vote.

Thank you,

Barb Speer
