Fred Edward “Ed” Walbourn
Born on March 3, 1934, in Franklin, he was the son of the late Fred Walbourn and the former Harriet Hummel.
Ed married the love of his life, the former Georgia Edna Gregory, on February 18, 1955; she survives him.
Ed worked in the Foundry at Chicago Pneumatic Tool (CPT) and then as a Truck Driver for the Teamster Union.
In his spare time, Ed enjoyed being outdoors, especially to hunt rabbit, raccoon, and deer, and he cherished the many years he got to hunt with his grandsons. He enjoyed going to gun shows with Johnny and Dick and was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.
Most of all, Ed loved the time he spent with his family and with his dogs, especially Molly, his “teddy bear” dog.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Georgia Walbourn; his three daughters, Marsha Keller and her husband, Tom, of Winterhaven, FL, Jeanette Miller and her husband, Steve, of Cochranton, and Jodi Johnson and her husband, Mike, of Franklin; and by his seven grandchildren, Tom Keller and his wife, Penny, of Burgettstown, Tracy Scott and her husband, Dan, of Greenville, Todd Keller and his wife, Sue, of Sandy Lake, Brooke Burchill of Meadville, Lori Miller and her companion, Brad Lapaglia of Pittsburgh, Tyler Johnson and his wife, Sarah, of Franklin, and Trevor Johnson and his wife, Raeann, of Franklin.
Ed is further survived by his thirteen great-grandchildren; and by his two sisters, Linda Towers and her husband, Wayne, of Franklin, and Roseann Byers and her husband, Duane, of Port Oxford, Oregon.
