Brenda Sue Coleman
Born November 27, 1969, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Inez E. Coleman Martyna and the late Ret. First Lieutenant Charles Ray Coleman.
She was a 1988 Oil City High School graduate and was a member of the National Honor Society.
Brenda loved to go to garage sales and to collect antiques. During her time in Ohio, and for four years, she owned an antique shop called Ruby Slippers.
She was a Daughter of the King through St. John’s Episcopal Church and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Franklin, where she served on the church council and occasionally was in charge of the childrens sermon.
Surviving is a son, Jonathan Busch and wife, Megan, of Canton, OH; her mother, Inez E. Coleman Martyna and her husband, Rick, of Oil City; her ex-husband John Busch of New Philadelphia, OH; and her sister, Kristina Teifer and husband, James, of Oil City.
Also surviving are a niece and great niece, an uncle Edward S. Roberts Jr. of Oil City, and two cousins, Terri Shoffstall and husband, Paul, of Franklin, and Edward Roberts and wife, Marci, of Oil City.
A memorial service will be held at Morrison Funeral Home at a date to be determined.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Brenda’s name to Grace Lutheran Church in Franklin.
