Featured Local Job: Veterans’ Affairs Director
Forest County is seeking a part time Veterans’ Affairs Director.
This administrative position is responsible for providing benefit assistance to veterans.
Strong computer skills are a requirement as well as keeping up to date on Federal and State programs and resources available to veterans and their dependents. The position requires attendance and successful completion of the Veterans’ Service Officer Training.
The Director is in charge of coordinating Memorial Day and Veterans Day ceremonies. Must be able to work independently, meet deadlines, multi-task and to interact effectively with the public and other agencies.
