Clarion University’s University Activities Board (UAB) and the Mary L. Seifert Cultural Series Committee are pleased to announce that celebrated poet, memoirist, novelist, educator, dramatist, producer, actress, historian, filmmaker and civil rights activist Dr. Maya Angelou will speak at Clarion University at 8 p.m. April 23 in the Marwick-Boyd Auditorium.
Tickets for Dr. Angelou’s lecture will be available beginning at noon March 6. Students, faculty and staff can pick up one complimentary ticket at the information desk in the Gemmell Student Complex during normal business hours (noon to 11 p.m.). A valid university ID is required. TIckets are limited and will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets for the public will go on sale at noon March 6 for $10 each (with a limit of four tickets per person). Public tickets will be available through the Clarion Students’ Association Office (278 Gemmell Student Complex) and online at www.clarionuniversitytickets.com. Tickets for the public will be available while supplies last.
The Mary L. Seifert Cultural Series Endowment was established to provide the Clarion University community with cultural experiences that inspire learning through thoughtful discussions.
