Local Couple Injured in One-Vehicle Crash in Butler County

BUTLER COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — Local residents were injured following a one-vehicle accident in Donegal Township, Butler County.

According to Butler-based State Police, the crash happened at 5:44 a.m. on Monday, March 25, on Landgraf Road in Donegal Township, Butler County.

Police say 52-year-old Michael S. Kapsin, of Chicora, was traveling east in a 2014 Hyundai Elantra when he attempted to turn left onto Iman Road.

Kapsin steered the vehicle off the intersection, and it subsequently crashed into a ditch.

Kapsin suffered suspected minor injuries but was not transported. His passenger—51-year-old Nicole L. Kapsin, of Chicora—was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital by Karns City Regional Ambulance Service to treat injuries of unknown severity.

Both occupants were using seat belts.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Rumbaugh Towing.

According to police, Kapsin was charged with a traffic violation.
