FOREST COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police responded to the following incidents:

Local Woman Suspected of DUI with Children in Vehicle

Marienville-based State Police observed a 2007 Pontiac conducting numerous traffic violations in the 100 block of Cherry Street in Jenks Township, Forest County, around 9:08 p.m. on Monday, March 25.

Police say a traffic stop was conducted, and the operator was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage with children in the passenger seats.

The operator—listed as a female from Lucinda—was taken to Clarion Hospital for a legal blood draw and was later released.

Drug Possession in Jenks Township

PSP Marienville conducted a traffic stop on a 2016 on State Route 66, in Jenks Township, Forest County, at 12:24 a.m. on Thursday, March 28.

Police say the operator was found to be in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

The arrestee—a 35-year-old Oil City man—was placed under arrest and processed and released.

Charges are pending through District Judge Daniel L. Miller’s office.

The suspects’ names were not released.
