BUTLER, Pa. (EYT) — A Clarion woman has been identified as one of two people killed in a head-on collision yesterday in Franklin Township, Butler County.

State Police say the accident occurred around 12:15 p.m. when 40-year-old Ron Tokarchik, of Butler, was “driving erratically” on Route 422.

Police say Tokarchik’s vehicle exited the westbound lane and side-swiped a tractor trailer.

After colliding with the tractor-trailer, Tokarchik’s Jeep collided head-on with a vehicle operated by 52-year-old Mary Lou Berry of Clarion.

According to WPXI News, both Berry and Tokarchik were killed in the crash.

Police say the driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
