Charges Filed Against Brookville Man in Alcohol-Related Crash

PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Charges have been filed against a Brookville man, stemming from an alcohol-related crash that took place last month in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County.

The accident took place last month when Michael Heath, 48, of Brookville, was traveling on State Route 322 in Pine Creek Township when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a car operated Justin Lackey, 30, of Sykesville.

Both Heath and Lackey sustained moderate injuries in the crash.

Charges were filed after it was determined that Heath was under the influence of alcohol.

He faces charges of DUI and other traffic-related offenses.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 3rd.
