Child Rushed to Hospital After Car Slams into Utility Pole in Clarion

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident on North 1st Avenue in Clarion Tuesday evening.

Sources say the accident happened around 9:50 p.m. when a white sedan collided with a utility pole near Clarion University Memorial Stadium.

According to eye-witnesses, a female juvenile passenger was injured in the accident and was transported to a nearby hospital by Clarion Hospital Ambulance.

The female driver and two other passengers escaped injuries.

Clarion Fire & Hose Co. No. 1 and Clarion Borough Police also responded to the scene.
