Four Injured in Summerville Area Crash

SUMMERVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Four people were injured in two-vehicle crash in Clover Township, Jefferson County yesterday.

State police said the accident occurred around 12:04 a.m. at the intersection of Roller Coaster Road and Mount Pleasant Road.

Police said a vehicle operated by 80-year-old Celia J. Shick, of Brookville, pulled into the intersection and into the path of a vehicle operated by a 17-year-old Summerville male.

The front left of the 17-year-old male’s vehicle collided with the right side of Shick’s vehicle, police said.

Police said Shick’s vehicle then traveled a short distance before striking a guy-wire and overturning onto its passenger side.

Both drivers and two passengers were transported to Brookville Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Pine Creek VFD, Summerville VFA,  and Jefferson County EMS assisted at the scene.

Shick will be cited with a traffic violation.
